Down Winter Coats
Down is the lightest, softest, and fluffiest product on earth. Ounce for ounce, down is warmer than any other material. Down coats are often warmer and lighter than their counterparts. Down is used often in high end coat apparel.
One thing to consider about down, is that it is really fluffy. That means that the coat will puff out more than others. Some people may look like a penguin with a cold weather down coat. Consider your body shape before getting a down coat.
